In the Western province of Rwanda in the region of Rusizite on the border of lake Kivu andthe Democratic Republic of the Congo and in other places of the country there are territories
covered with quite powerful layers of peatlands.
Part of the peatlands has been studied and investigated for their use as
TPP fuel for power generation.
There are prerequisites that in the lower part of the thickness of peat deposits,
raw materials of a high degree of decomposition predominate, and sapropel is also present.
The Center for Sapropel (Russia) puts forward the idea of a widespread study of
the territory of this area and carrying out geological prospecting and appraisal works
in order to determine the quantitative and qualitative indicators of raw materials
in the lower stratum of Rwandan peatlands for their extraction and processing
into highly effective natural organic fertilizers, humates and soil-formers in liquid,
pasty, free-flowing, granular and tableted form.
Based on search evaluation will be carried out the calculation of reserves
a high degree of decomposition of peat and sapropel, which will allow the Centre
to quickly and efficiently perform the technical project of the enterprise
for extraction and processing of peat and sapropel in commercial products,
as well as supplying equipment specifications from the project.
If necessary, we are ready to undertake the implementation
of all the work on documentary preparation and launch of
the "turnkey" complex.

The proposed Rwandan peatlands development program
includes the following phases :
Stage 1. Prospecting and appraisal work in the region. Identification
and calculation of reserves of a high degree of decomposition of peat
and sapropel, protocols of laboratory analysis of raw materials,
conclusion of suitability, as well as preparation of samples of finished
products, approximate specification of equipment and capital
investments, prime cost and recommended price of products.
Terms of execution – 2,5-3 months.
Stage 2. Technical project for the production of natural organic
fertilizers and soil mixtures.
Design time – 3 months.
Stage 3. Manufacturing and delivery of equipment according to
the specifications from the project.
Manufacturing time – 3 months.
Stage 4. Installation and commissioning of equipment.
