• Tesla cars allow you to drive a car without direct intervention. From the very
first firmware, the FSD autopilot confidently drove electric cars through the
streets of cities, recognized road signs and traffic
lights with almost no errors, made a left turn that
passing an oncoming stream of cars. The same
applies, for example, to reactions to pedestrians,
road infrastructure objects.

• In addition, as early as October 2020, the autopilot was able to drive an
electric car along country roads without any markings.
The main thing in which FSD is improving is in
the smoothness of reactions and a wider
range of responses to the road situation.

What the FSD can't handle?
• The first one is connected with the passage of intersections where STOP
signs are installed. In such areas, the autopilot may slow down for a
mandatory stop before passing the intersection too far from the intersected
carriageway. The second flaw of FSD, which in a certain situation can even
lead to negative consequences, is phantom braking. For example, the
autopilot slows down a little while driving on the highway for no objective
reason.
