Breathe Safety Index is service to assess occupational health risks based on environmental quality
data such as temperature, humidity, carbon dioxide concentration level, airborne particulate matter,
noise level and illumination.
A mathematical model based on numerical methods automated the assessment of the impact of
environmental parameters on short- and medium-term risks of human diseases, as well as on the
success of work tasks. Thus, the service is provided in 3 projections in terms of:
disease risks (5 systems),
intellectual work capacity (9 axes),
quality of life (sleep, physical activity, mental health, emotional condition).

Health impact of Air Pollution
Air quality has a
strong impact on a
number of body
systems: the brain
and nervous system,
the liver and heart,
and reproductive
function. In the era
of COVID, special
attention is paid to
respiratory
infections, asthma
and allergies.
Headache and anxiety
(SO2) Impacts on the
central nervous
system (PM)
Irritation of eyes,
nose and throat.
Breathing problems
(O3, PM, NO2, SO2, BaP)
Cardiovascular diseases (PM, O3, SO2)
Impacts on the respirator
system: irritation,
inflammation and infections,
asthma and reduced lung
function, chronic obstructive
pulmonary disease (PM),
lung cancer (PM, BaP)
Impacts on liver, spleen, blood (NO2)
Impacts on the reproductive
system (PM)
