discover everything except the obvious. (Oscar Wilde)
15. Equanimity.
EQUANIMIT Y.The English joke all the time, but their expressions don't
change. Humor is built on subtle hints and suggestions .
“I really like how loud you play your music”, – an Englishman
will say with an imperturbable slightly sly face, in response to
which you should laugh of f in style : “Oh, yes, everybody loves
me for that, that’s w hy I live alone”, and turn the music down.
16. Play upon words.
PLAY UPON WORDS.English humour is most associated with words. Most jokes are
based on similarity of words. To understand such a joke, you
need to know the language well, and to create a new one, you
need excellent knowledge.
– Excuse me sir, what is it?
– It’s bean soup.
– I don’t care what it has been. What is it now?
– Why do you think she is now wearing a size 16?
– I guess she just 8 + 8 (ate and ate).

FEATURES OF AMERICAN HUMOR.“Banana skin sense of humor" is
a well-known joke with banana
skin. American humor: forget the
banana peel.

is smart. (Steve Martin)
Unlike the British, the joke of the
Americans can be seen
immediately.
The humor of Americans implies
the reaction of the publiclaughter. This is a mandatory
aspect.
18. Topics for jokes in America.
TOPICS FOR JOKES IN AMERICA.national characteristics
(Americans joke about
Canadians),
policy,
celebrities,
historical characters,
lawyers(!)
19. jokes about lawyers.
JOKES ABOUT LAWYERS.Everyone jokes about lawyers .
There are a lot of anecdotes on this topic.

between a lawyer and a leech ? A: After you die, the
leech will stop sucking your blood!

longer.

AUDACIT Y.In the US, the content and form of the joke are impertinent.

you doing in the meantime?" "I use a pencil."

that his desire to smoke is as obvious as the desire of the
glutton Joey to eat two pizzas alone.
22. COMPARISON of humor.
COMPARISON OF HUMOR.1. Irony Subtle mockery is
an element of any show in
England. Americans on the
contrary do not use this,
they can ironize openly and
rudely. BUT!
in America, irony is less
common, because they are
afraid of being accused of
racism/sexism, etc. They
often add "Just
kidding"("Just kidding").
23. COMPARISON of humor.
COMPARISON OF HUMOR.2. Straightforwardness and playful
aggression Americans are not
duplicitous, they do not hide their
negative beliefs with passive aggressive joking. They can openly
state what they don't like.
That is why English humor seems
intricate, understandable only to
intellectuals!
The American will joke head -on. He
will explain the joke and why it is
funny. The English make jokes with
a "stone face".
24. COMPARISON of humor.
COMPARISON OF HUMOR.3. Cynicism and self-criticism American
monologues are full of cynicism,
sarcasm, harshness, and even
rudeness.
The comic ef fect occurs when the
stereotype and our expectation collide
with the provocative meaning of the
joke.
The English can just watch the rude
jokes and talk about the weather, as
they are very polite. Cynicism helps
comedians to make fun of themselves,
to make filigree jokes about their own
vices and shortcomings, to criticize
their weaknesses in public.
25. COMPARISON of humor.
COMPARISON OF HUMOR.3. Buf foonery The Comedy subgenre is "slapstick humor".
There is a phenomenon called "comic violence"when using
cartoons. For example, falling on a banana peel, someone is
hurt, everyone is funny. Flying in the face of a cake -also a
favorite story of this genre. The English don't like this kind of
entertainment.
Americans love this kind of humor. For example, the famous
one is Mr. Bean. In America, popular movies are "home
Alone", the animated series "Tom and Jerry" and the cartoon
with woody Woodpecker. These projects contain elements of
buf foonery.
26. HUMOR

HUMOR UNITES EVERYONE!
