Present Continuous образуется
при помощи
вспомогательного глагола
to be (am, is, are) и смыслового
глагола с окончанием
-ing.

Употребление
Present Continuous употребляется, когда
речь идет о действиях, происходящих
сейчас, в момент речи.
Указатели времени (сигналы),
употребляемые с Present Continuous:
now, at the moment.

Краткие ответы
В кратких ответах употребляется только
Yes или No, личное местоимение в
именительном падеже (I, you, he, etc) и
глагол to be в нужной форме.
Yes, I am. No, I am not.
Yes, he (she) is. No, he (she) isn’t.
Yes, you (we, they) are.
No, you (we, they) aren’t.
