2. Wolverine

In the 1930s there were a lot of
wolverines in Udmurtia. But then
forests were cut down here, and
the number of individuals
decreased sharply. Today they are
found very rarely - and only in the
northern regions of Udmurtia. The
wolverine is a large representative
of the family of the fowl. The body
length of the animal reaches 105
centimeters, and its weight - up to
21 kilograms.

3. Sapsan

Peregrine falcons in the nonbreeding period fly to
populated areas and hunt
pigeons, and during nesting
they can occasionally be
found on the hard-to-reach
precipitous banks of the
Kama River.
Peregrine Falcon is a large
falcon, its size reaches half a
meter, and its wingspan is up
to 120 centimeters.

4. Onion skoroda

Skoroda onion used to be
found in several districts of
Udmurtia in transitional and
key bogs. Today it is found
only in three districts, in an
area of no more than 30
square meters, although it
grows there quite a lot: up to
500 plants in the whole area.
