Born: 14.november.1948
When Charles was only three years old, his
mother, Elizabeth II, was crowned (1952).

3. Education


In his early years, he was educated by his teacher,
Catherine Peebles
At the age of 8 went to Hill House School in West
London.
and later Gordonstoun school in Scotland.
After Gordonstoun, Prince Charles went to Trinity
College, Cambridge, where he received a lower
second class degree for Anthropology and
archaeology.
He also spent time at the University of Wales,
where he began to learn Welsh.
He later served in the Royal navy, from 1971 to 1978

4. First marriage


In his early 30s, his parents pressured Charles
to choose a wife and get married.
He met Diana Spencer - a young nursery
assistant.
Charles was taken by her kindness and
warm-heartedness.
Prince Charles proposed to Diana on February
1981
Married in St Paul's Cathedral on 29.July.1981
(Diana was 20 and Charles was 33 years old )

5. Children

• They had two children:
o Prince William born on 21.June.1982
o Price Henry (known as "Harry") born

6. Divorsce and Diana’s death


The couple's age difference (almost 13
years), as well as Diana's concern about
Charles's relationship with his previous
girlfriend Camilla led them to divorce.
Charles and Diana divorced on 28
August 1996.
31 of August in 1997, Diana, Princess of
Wales was killed in a car accident in
Paris.

7. Second marriage


The engagement of Charles and Camilla Parker
Bowles was announced on 10 February 2005.
The wedding took place in a civil ceremony at
Windsor Guildhall, on 9 April 2005.
