beginning of the sun”.
• Japanese literature gave the world
such poetic genres as tanka, hokku,
haiku.

• The main task of painting in Japan is
to convey the spirit through images.
• Japan painting is divided into many
periods.
• The creation of anime – an important
part of Japanese culture.
• One of the first anime was
“Namakura Gatana” about the
samurai.
