Introduction
Michael Joseph Jackson (August 29,1958 —June 25,2009) is an
American musician, entertainer, philanthropist [fi‘lænθrəpist](慈善家)
and businessman.
He was born in the United States Indiana city of Gary(美国印地安那州加
里市) Jackson Street, 21 (Gary, Indiana, USA)
He is the world‘s popular culture and symbolic figures in the world,
having a very high visibility and great influence, known as the King of
Pop.
He is a great music all-rounder(全才)in the lyricizing, composing,
scene production, arrangement, singing, dancing and playing musical
instruments.

Michael Jackson was the eighth of ten children to an
African--American working-class family.
At a young age, he showed great talent for sing and
dance.
In the year of 1963, with the help from their parents,
Michael, together with his four elder brothers (Jackie,
Tito, Jermaine and Marlon) made up the band which was
known widely as the “Jackson 5”.
