Biography
William Shakespeare was born in 1564 on April 23 in Stratford-uponAvon, Workshire, in the center of England. Shakespeare's father - John
Shakespeare, a glove-maker by profession, was a wealthy man and held
various positions in the city government, up to the bailiff - the mayor.
Shakespeare's mother, Mary, was the daughter of Robert Arden, a small
landed nobleman from Warwickshire, descended from the ancient
Catholic family of the Ardens.
Shakespeare studied, most likely, at the local grammar school - one of
the best provincial schools in England, where the sons of the
townspeople received a free education, studying Latin, Greek, history
and literature.

Why did you choose this book.
In the book "Hamlet" I saw the idea of how black and
tragic the world is, how much evil and lies it contains. The
Danes are drunk, they don't care about anything, the king
is meanly killed, the mother, instead of mourning
befitting the occasion, rushed out to marry, friends strive
to betray. Shakespeare transforms the hero's ideal
mannequin into a living person. And the classic ending of
the tragedy ("everyone died") seems to me not just a
tribute to tradition, but a damn right move. I have
experienced many different emotions from this book.
