• TCO Special Projects Group supports the local social
program projects in cooperation with Atyrau Akimat
leadership.
Execution
process of
Special
Projects
• These projects were approved in the past by Regulatory
Bodies with positive expertise for implementation and had
been turned over to TCO Special Projects Group.
• Egilik projects have faced serious problems during and after
construction phases, which resulted in costly solutions, TCO
had to fund twice these social projects
• Central Engineering group was involved in the reviewing
and acceptance process of Egilik projects in 2021-2022

Kindergarten design was provided forTCO execution in 2014
Construction was built in 2015
2017 first cracks appeared on interior walls
2018 cracks appeared on building corners.
2019 despite the foundation reinforcing new cracks appeared
and enlarged
• 2021 cracks on interior walls, on foundations on exterior brick
walls didn’t stop and kept enlarging.

recommendation
• Kindergarten reconstruction design was provided
forTCO execution in 2022
• Project included into 2023 projects list.
• 2022 CE engineer and Egilik team site visit of the
KG building
• CE Civil team called into question the
implementation of this project
• Recommended carry out adequate technical
inspection

Technical
inspection
survey
• Based on the results main bearing structures of
the KG building are in Category V (unsafe
emergency) state.
• Main bearing structures’ depreciation level - 6080%, and beyond any repair or restoration.
• Overall building depreciation =70.8% (unsafe
emergency).
• Recommendation is to recognize the building as
unsafe building in an emergency state.
