Digitalization
Digitalization is one of the most promising tools for achieving the
Sustainable Development Goals at the micro level, so the
theoretical and practical justification of the impact of digitalization
on the sustainable development of a company, as well as the
development of tools for assessing this impact, are becoming
increasingly relevant.
The purpose of the work is to develop a
methodology for assessing the impact of
digitalization on the sustainable development of a
company.

4.

Digitalization
Research objectives:
explore theoretical approaches to the study of digitalization as a factor in the
sustainable development of a company;
to analyze Russian and foreign digitalization practices in the context of
sustainable development;

5.

THEORETICAL APPROACHES TO THE
STUDY OF DIGITALIZATION
The modern economy is based on constant improvement:
improved, modernized and invented new management models,
products and systems. Development takes place both at the global,
world level, and within the framework of a separate state,
enterprise, and even a department in a company.

6.

FEATURES OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF
DIGITALIZATION IN RUSSIA
Program for the development of the digital economy in Russia.
Main goals:
Ensuring the country's technological leadership in the context of the
formation of a global digital space;
Formation of a qualitatively new structure of economic assets that
meet the economic pigments of the digital economy;
Formation of the principles of effective management of the formed
and improvement of the management of existing economic assets
(resources).

ASSESSMENT OF THE IMPACT OF DIGITALIZATION ON THE
SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF RUSSIAN INDUSTRIES
At this stage of the study, a methodology was developed to assess
the impact of digitalization on the sustainable development of the
company. In the process of forming the methodology presented in
this chapter, the tool for drawing analogies with existing
approaches to assessing sustainable development and digitalization
was used.
In addition, we took into account the frequency of displaying
relevant information in the financial and non-financial statements of
companies, internal documents and in open sources. Figure 10
shows the main stages of the developed methodology for assessing
the impact of digitalization on sustainable development.

8.

Formation of a set of indicators to assess the impact of
digitalization on aspects of sustainable development. At this
stage, a set of indicators is being formed that will be used to
assess the impact of digitalization on sustainable
development.

9.

ASSESSMENT OF THE IMPACT OF DIGITALIZATION ON THE
SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF RUSSIAN INDUSTRIES
In external analytics, it will allow for a comparative analysis of
companies. The figure shows the types of information users.
Assessing the impact of digitalization on sustainable
development is useful not only for the company, but also for its
stakeholders - external users of information. In general, such
ratings are useful to all stakeholders, but such information is
especially relevant for shareholders and investors.

10.

In recent years, the requirements for openness and transparency of
companies, their image and level of social responsibility have
increased.
Investors and shareholders are increasingly paying attention to how
a company manages aspects of sustainable development, how
efficiently it uses its resources, including attracted financial
resources.

11.

CONCLUSION
An analysis of global digitalization research practices has shown
that all developed countries are striving to use digital technologies
as a tool to achieve sustainable development goals by investing in
increasing the availability of communications, developing digital
skills among the population and improving the quality of public
services.
