Boulder, Colorado, U.S.; United

FACTS
JonBenét's parents and brother have long been suspected of murdering their daughter,
but twenty years later, the accused Gary Oliva, who was convicted several times for
attempted murder of his mother and sexual abuse of children, was in the house on the
evening of December 26, 1996 at the time of the kidnapping of 6-year-old model
JonBenét Ramsey. He wrote a three-page note demanding that $ 118,000 be returned in
exchange for what he had stolen. Soon, the abducted model was found with a broken
skull and suffocation marks in the basement, covered with a blanket. And the killer
wrote to his friend: "I offended a little girl." He hit JonBenét with a stun gun, she
slipped and broke her skull in half. At the house of the accused, 335 photographs of
JonBenét were found, including photographs of an autopsy of a six-year-old child and a
letter of declaration of love for the girl.

The JonBenet murder became one of the most notorious crimes in
the United States in the 1990s. The investigation did not lead to any
concrete results for a long time. The girl's parents were considered
the main suspects. The murder was overgrown with numerous
rumors and suspicions. In 2005, a genetic examination determined
that the blood on the victim's underwear did not belong to her
parents. Also, no matches were found with DNA samples in the FBI
database. A few years later, Gary Oliva confessed to the crime.
