THE LENGTH OF THE RIVER
SHILKA IS A RIVER IN THE TRANS-BAIKAL TERRITORY.
THE LENGTH OF THE SHILKA PROPER (FROM THE
CONFLUENCE OF ONON AND INGODA TO THE CONFLUENCE
WITH ARGUN) IS 560 KM; THE LENGTH TOGETHER WITH
INGODA IS 1210 KM, TOGETHER WITH ONON — 1455 KM.

SIGHTS OF THE SHILKA RIVER
The district center of Shilka.
The Shilka River runs 21 kilometers to this populated location,
occupied by 2 large settlements and hay meadows between
them.

The recreation center "Chalbuchi"
75 kilometers further along the course, rafting on the Shilka River will bring you to the most comfortable rest along
the entire route. Chalbuchi Valley is famous for its special proximity to a dense mixed forest (standing on low
mountains), as well as idyllic colorful herbage in clearings that are moistened by the purest mountain springs. The
complex of pre-revolutionary buildings.

Polosatik Rock
After walking another 10 km (just a little before reaching the Shilkinsky Plant) you will immediately notice the
Striped Rock. An amazing natural monument standing on the right bank immediately catches the eye.
